Some Background
Kent St Weir at Canning Reserve is an oasis of natural wetlands about 15 minutes from Perth CBD.
The Weir separates Canning River’s freshwater from brackish water. The area attracts a huge number of birds and wildlife. People and dogs too flock to the Cafe and use the riverpark for BBQs, photoshoots, kayaking and many other family activities. The Park is even one of the few inland swimming & fishing hot spots.
